I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Soft Condensed matter group under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohammad Reza Ejtehadi. My research interest is modeling and simulating of biological systems, especially protein-membrane structures. At the moment, I am working on modifying the spike protein of SARS-Cov-2 which plays a key role in cell binding and entry. Using molecular scale simulations, I will study the effect of structural changes of the spike protein on cell attachment.
