Hesamodin Jami, PhD, is a postdoctoral fellow in the soft condensed matter group at the Sharif University of Technology. His research interests include modelling of biological structures, bone regeneration, protein-metal interaction, micro/nano-patterning, and soft tissue engineering.

His current research focuses on the molecular study of helical assemblies for plasmonic peptide-gold nanorods with precisely controlled and tunable structures.

He holds a PhD from the school of aerospace, mechanical and the mechatronics engineering University of Sydney, Sydney, Australia. He studied the new methods of coatings for titanium implants during his PhD program.
